Quality Policy

At BİRMEK A.Ş., quality is not only a value achieved at the end of a process but a fundamental principle applied at every stage of our operations.

Our policy, established in accordance with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, aims to ensure customer satisfaction, comply with legal and contractual requirements, promote continuous improvement with employee participation, and embed quality as an integral part of our business culture.

With this understanding:

  • We manage all our operations using measurable quality indicators.
  • We raise awareness about quality among all stakeholders—from our suppliers to our employees.
  • We strictly adhere to project delivery deadlines, technical specifications, and implementation integrity.
  • Our quality policy serves as a declaration of responsibility not only within the company but also toward our clients and business partners.

Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Policy

At BİRMEK A.Ş., we regard occupational health and safety as one of our core values across all our projects—ranging from mechanical equipment installations to piping fabrication, from steel structure assembly to storage tank erection—both nationally and internationally.

Human life, health, and well-being come before anything else. In every location where we operate, creating and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all our employees and stakeholders is our fundamental responsibility.

All our HSE practices are planned and implemented in strict compliance with national laws—particularly the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331—and applicable regulations and international standards. As outlined in Article 4 of this law, our core obligations as an employer include ensuring the health and safety of our employees, taking all necessary precautions, providing proper training, and supplying all required tools and equipment without exception.

Additionally, to support the development of a strong occupational safety culture, we provide our employees with the education, guidance, and communication platforms necessary to fulfill their responsibilities under Article 19 of the same law.

Our Core HSE Approach:

  • Proactive Risk Management: Before every project, detailed risk assessments are conducted, control measures are implemented, and risks are minimized. Our approach prioritizes eliminating hazards at their source.
  • Training and Awareness: We deliver planned, systematic HSE training tailored to each employee's job description. Working with well-informed, conscious, and responsible teams capable of making data-driven decisions is the cornerstone of safe operations. Our training programs cover a wide spectrum—from general onboarding to specialized topics like working at heights, hot works, and confined space operations.
  • Auditing, Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: We conduct regular site inspections, observations, and performance analyses to monitor, audit, and enhance our HSE performance in all projects. This strengthens our internal control systems and reinforces preventive measures against workplace accidents and occupational illnesses.
  • Technology and PPE Use: All equipment, machinery, and personal protective equipment (PPE) used on-site are selected, maintained, and operated in accordance with relevant standards. Encouraging innovation, we are committed to using technology efficiently in the HSE field as well.
  • Sustainability and Social Responsibility Perspective: We view our HSE efforts not only as an obligation to our employees but also as an ethical responsibility toward society and the environment. Accordingly, we meticulously plan every project to ensure responsible execution that safeguards the well-being of communities and ecosystems.

Our HSE policy is designed not just to meet today’s requirements but also to shape a safer, healthier, and more efficient workplace in the future. With the cooperation of all stakeholders, we are steadfastly moving toward our goal of zero workplace accidents.
